Holiday season is here! Even though I live in the tropics and it doesn’t look anything like winter/holiday weather outside, I can feel the warm, festive vibes of the season.
Like me I’m sure you’re in the thick of holiday shopping and gift hunting, which is why I wanted to share my Sephora Thailand Holiday Gift Guide 2018 below. It has some thoughtful, fun and reasonably priced gift ideas for friends, family and colleagues this holiday season. I hope you find it helpful.

Each palette includes mattes and shimmers so it’s easy to get complete eye makeup looks that easily go from day-to-night. I have another Huda Beauty palette and I reach for it every time I feel like I want a bold look that will last a long time so I can vouch for the quality. I think these palettes will make a great gift for both a makeup novice or pro and if they like colour the Precious Stones Collection offers a gorgeous range of colours — my favourites are Topaz and Amethyst.

The luxurious, sleek and compact design of the Marc Jacobs Beauty Eye-Conic Multi-Finish Eyeshadow Palette makes it a pretty gift for anyone who loves makeup or travels a lot. The high quality and vibrant pigmentation of the shadows is worth the higher price point. Personally, I also like the colour selection of each seven-shadow palette; my favourites are:

The Urban Decay Born To Ruin Eyeshadow Palette includes 21 shades in a wide range of colours making it possible to do almost any eyeshadow look — neutral to ultimate glam. It is the perfect gift for anyone who will appreciate having a one-stop eyeshadow solution. Urban Decay eyeshadows are very pigmented and blend easily — I can personally vouch for this as I own other palettes from the brand. The price point is high but I think the product offers great value.

A must-have for anyone who lives in a humid, tropical country like Thailand, the Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray (Travel Size 30 ML) will ensure make does not budge or crease. I use this spray to set my makeup after its done for hot and humid days, outdoor events and daytime or nighttime functions when I need my makeup to last. It’s available in this smaller travel size as well as a full size 118 ML. I think the smaller travel size is a great Secret Santa / stocking stuffer / multi-item gift option.
Beautyblender
Sapphire Beautyblender

Nothing else can achieve a flawless face effect like a Beautyblender; it is soft and blends foundation like a dream and has become one of my beauty necessities. It’s available in a range of colours but this stunning sapphire blue is the most stunning. The Beautyblender will be a very thoughtful and functional gift because it is a product that is used so frequently and anyone would love to have some extras on hand.

The Blendercleanser Solid comes in adorable packaging — it opens up like a little jar and inside there is a solid bar of soap and a cleaning pad on which to remove excess dirt and makeup residue. It’s a great gift because the solid soap can be used with makeup brushes too and it’s compact enough to travel with. I can vouch for this product and find it very effective to clean my Beautyblenders and brushes. The cleanser can be paired with a Beautyblender for a gift or given separately.
Blender Defender

The Blender Defender is used to store Beautyblenders in makeup bags or on vanities and is very useful because Beautyblenders are often used damp they can dampen the inside of bags or table tops. My Beautyblenders are forever rolling around everywhere so this is a nice way to store them (wet or dry), keep them clean or even travel with. It will make a very nice and useful gift for anyone who uses Beautyblenders regularly and also works well to create a full Beautyblender-themed gift set with the items above.

If you’re looking for a more reasonably priced gift, the Smashbox Cover Shot Eye Palette is a great option. They are good quality and offer a good range of shades. I personally like Ablaze with the warm tones and Smoky with the richer, darker tones.

An absolute favourite for many makeup artists, bloggers and influencers, the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder is known creating a filtered blur-like effect on skin. It will be a very thoughtful gift for anyone who has some knowledge of makeup. It’s only available in one shade because it’s a translucent powder, it will blend right into this skin without leaving any strange whiteness on deeper skin tones. It’s a pricey product but will last a very long time — it’s an investment!

Goof Proof Brow Pencil

One of my holy grail everyday products the Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Brow Pencil is my go-to for filling up my brows so they look nice and full. It’s available in a variety of shades — for anyone who has dark brown / black hair shades 4 or 5 should be fine. I think this is a great gift for anyone who likes bold brows. The price is on the higher side for a reason — it lasts forever but is also super easy to use and looks very natural.
