Ethereal Soft Pink Makeup

Here’s a very wearable soft pink glam, which I think is perfect for daytime events and parties. What I love most about this look is that it’s so ethereal and flattering on medium to deep skin tones.

To create this look you will need:

  • Matte neutral bronzer (I use Hoola Bronzer by Benefit Cosmetics)
  • A deep dusty pink eyeshadow (I used the shade Seed Money from then Main Squeeze Watermelon eyeshadow palette)
  • A shimmery pink (or any shimmer you like — I used the shade Angelic from the Huda Beauty eyeshadow palette)
  • Pink-toned blush
  • Pink lipstick of your choice (I used L’Oreal Rose Garden 305 mixed with Huda Beauty Rendez-Vous)
  • Highlighter
  • Mascara
  • Eyebrow pencil

Step 1: Sweep bronzer (or a neutral taupe/light brown eyeshadow) into your crease area using a fluffy crease brush to create a base to work from.

Step 2: Gently sweep and blend the dusty pink eyeshadow into the bronzer / neutral brown, keeping it slightly lower so you can still see some of the bronzer / neutral brown shade on the outer edges in the crease.

Step 3: Use your finger tips to tap in the shimmer all over your eyelids

Step 4: Use a tapered shadow brush to apply some of the dusty pink on the outside edges to add some dimension and depth to the look.

Step 5: Use a medium smudge brush to apply bronzer / brown eyeshadow to the lower lash line followed by a small smudge brush to apply the dusty deep pink closer to the lash line.

Step 6: Fill in eyebrows and apply a generous amount of mascara.

Step 7: Apply blush with a fluffy brush sweeping backwards and upwards towards your temples.

Step 8: Apply a little bit of bronzer towards the back of your cheekbones to add some warmth to the face.

Step 9: Dust highlighter on all the usual areas: top of cheekbones, brow bone and tip of nose.

Step 10: Finish off with pink lipstick.
