The Simple Gold Shimmer Eye Makeup Look You Can Do In 10 Minutes Perfect For Any Party
Here’s an easy gold shimmer eye look you can wear to any type of social occasion — day or night. Pair it with an ethnic outfit for South Asian festive/Diwali season or wear a little black dress and rock it at a holiday party.
Here are the products I used to create the look
- Gold shimmer eyeshadow
- Champagne / light gold shimmer eyeshadow
- Dark brown eyeshadow
- Brown or black kohl pencil
- Bronzer + blush
- Lipstick of your choice
Step 1: Use a fluffy brush to add a taupe brown or use a matte bronzer in the crease.
Step 2: Use a finger to gently tap on gold shimmer eyeshadow all over the eyelid
Step 3: Use another clean finger to add a little champagne shimmer eyeshadow on top, focusing it mainly in the centre of the eyelid
Step 4: Use the same fluffy brush as Step 1 without any extra product on it to blend the shimmers into the crease colour. This is completely optional optional: use a tapered eyeshadow brush to add a little dark brown eyeshadow on the outer corner of the upper lid and blend slightly into the other colours.
Step 5: Use a brown or black kohl to line the upper line and then use an angled brush to wing out the ends.
Step 6: Use a medium smudge brush and mix a medium brown and dark brown to smudge along the lower lash line. Fill in your eyebrows and finish off the eyes with mascara.
Step 7: Add bronzer and a neutral blush
Step 8: Wear any lip product of your choice!
